Will it be City or Liverpool?

Tens of millions football fans will focus on the English Premier League entering the final week. The 38th week of the 2018-19 English Premier League season was very much awaited for the results, becoming the final fate of two clubs fighting for the Premier League title.

Manchester City made a sweet moment for the 2013-14 Premier League champions after last week’s 2-0 win over West Ham United thanks to goals from Samir Nasri and Vincent Kompany. That result made futile a 2-1 victory that Liverpool won over Newcastle United.


Man.City is ‘above the wind’, having a big chance of winning the championship compared to Liverpool. Man.City, the defending champion, is one point ahead of Liverpool. In the last week of EPL, City will play away against bottom-placed Brighton & Hove Albion who currently rank 17th.

Brighton & Hove Albion have no interest in the rest of the Premier League matches. Brighton is safe from the threat of degradation.

Manchester City have a big chance of winning points in the last week of EPL because Brighton have not won in the last 9 matches. City also won the last four meetings against Brighton.

However, Brighton can be a dangerous stumbling block for Man. City. Because Brighton and Hove Albion won three draws in the last four games, they could threaten City to win to ensure the title.

A few days ago Liverpool made a remarkable comeback in the Champions League semifinals. In the condition of losing 0-3 by Barcelona in the first leg, Liverpool managed to turn things around with a 4-0 win over Barca in the second leg.

The mission of Liverpool to win the 2018-19 Premier League title will take place at home, Anfield Stadium. Liverpool host Wolverhampton Wanderers who are now in 7th place in the standings.
